1X741. Dryopteris D. dissecta (Foret) 0. X. Small
tufts in rich humus covered soil of dense forests, at 3500
feet, south of the Baruring river; rootstock several inches
long, erect, 1 or 2 inches thick, covered with yellowish
brown scales: stipes ascending, green, grooved along the
upper side, soft in texture, brown ***£ scale covered at the
base, 2 feet long: frond aseendingty recurved, as long as
the stipe; pinnae slightly recurved; the pinules descending,
flat, membranous, light pleasing green on the upper side,
pale somewhat yellowish green b^eithj, "Danganrisman;"
