A large cove at the southern end of Laguna Mandiore.
Separated from the main body of the lake by a narrow
spit of land. Elevation approximately 90 m. Center of
collecting: 18°13'38"S. 57°33'5"W.
Semi-aquatic grass. Stems inflated
and floating. Abundant in this area,
with scattered individuals noted
throughout the system. In flower.
Habitat: large assemblages of
floating and emergent herbs and
emergent shrubs. Dominated by
Paspalum repens and Oiyza sp. with
scattered pockets of Pontederia
rotundifolia.
