Rolling, unconsolidated sandy soil, weathered
reddish, with savanna-like subtropical forest,
Protium heptaphyllum, Simarouba amara, Ficus
caball~»Tia, Didymopanax morototoni.
Terrestrial, large clump (ends of leaves have
all been cut off). Inflorescence erect,
unbranched, 2 m. tall. Flowers odorless;
"open" flowers hanging, dull green and
purplish.
