Coastal evergreen forest with disturbed margins, rocks by the sea, and semi-cultivated ground.

Erect viscid herb to about 50 cm. with aromatic odour. leaves pale green. Calyx pale green. Corolla pale mauve, with lower lip pale pinkish-mauve. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
