Elevation ca. 722-738 feet. Sandy loam and humus. Mesic slopes at cliffs, with Acer negundo, Acer saccharum, Aquilegia canadensis, Arabis shortii, Hydrophyllum appendiculatum, Quercus muhlenbergii, Q. rubra, Tilia americana, Ulmus americana.
