Terrestrial clumping herb to 1 m tall; leaves a single blade, lanceolate, 23 x 8.5 cm, concolorous, petiole yellow, 2.5 cm; flowers arising in raceme from stem below the leaf, zygomorphic, white with transluscent stripes, surrounded by brown bracts, petals reflexed; fruits green, 3-parted.
