Around pond formed along former railroad causeway and
adjacent slope. With Onoclea sensibilis, Quercus bicolor
and Betula nigra at edge of pond and Cary a cordiformis,
Ostrya virginiana, Stayphylea trifolia, Tilia americana on
lower slope.
Marshy edge of pond, with Iris virginica. Forming tufts,
with much more vegetative material than flowering culms.
