Ritter (NHA), 1998 Department of Santa Cruz Province of Velasco Cmmd. of Florida The banks of the Rio Paragua, adjacent to the community school. Elevation ca. 200 meters. Approximate center of the collecting area: 14°36'33"S. 61°ir31"W. Submerged aquatic herb, with the uppermost leaves at the waters surface. Fairly abundant. Growing in depths from 15-60 cm. Flowers reddish-purple. Fruits present. Habitat: the banks of the river. Substrate sand and sediment.
