Pinyon-Juniper woodland with Artemisia, Pinus, Ephedra, Purshia, Juniperus, Salvia, Leptodactylon and Lupinus. Frequent, apparently avoiding carbonate. Coarse pelitic colluvium sloping 10° SW.
