Maianthemum racemosum L. ssp. racemosum
NEW YORK, SUFFOLK CO.: Huntington Station, in the Paumonek
Wetland, west of Walt Whitman High School, near the edge of the
woods. Fruit olive green with maroon speckles. Growing in an
Oak-Hickory Mesic Woodland under Acer platanoides, with
Sassafras albidum, Prunus, Celastrus orbiculatus, and
Phytolacca americana.
