Liana, leaves thinly coriaceous, dark green and glossy above,
beneath paler green and dull.
Flowers pendulous, calyx and corolla green, all petals with dark
red-brown base, anthers cream-coloured, stigmas green, flowers
fragrant and becoming cream-coloured.
