GUYANA. Potaro-Siparuni Region. Upper Potaro River, Malek Falls,
below new Ayanganna airstrip. Elevation: 625 m. 5°16'56.7"N
59°49'25.7"W. Secondary forest and open, disturbed areas around
dredge pits, with Cecropia, Vismia and Miconia. Shrublet 0.5 m,
peduncles and pedicels pink, fruits dull white, sepals dull pink, corolla
pink at base, white above, anthers pink, white at apex.
