Shrubby pandan 3 m high with multiple erect stems 5-6 cm diam.^mall basal
prop roots. Leaves clustered distally, medium green, glossy above, arching,
sheath pink-orange. Fruits in terminal clusters of 6-7 heads. Cultivated, seed
from Airai, Palau (DL 8202). NTBG 98179.003
