Tambo road. Elev. 900 m. Hemiepiphyte, branching off its
shoot at 7 m along a trunk of Socratea. Flap
acarodomatia on midrib base. Floral bracts, hypanthium,
and calyx green; corolla white, 4.3 mm long (bud); style
yellow; ovary inferior, 4-carpellate; immature fruit green,
mature fruit pale purple-white; seeds purple; insect galls
burgundy.
