PLANTS OF THE GUIANAS 'thi'CtxCeroC^ T emstroemiaoaae- Ternstroemia Det. J. Dodge, III 2011 GUYANA. Cuyuni-Mazaruni. Kako River vicinity, above Kako Village, near Camp 3, ca. 22 air km east of Tulameng summit (summit 1534m, N 5°33'27.r, W 60°59'34.7"). 493 m. 5°33'33.5"N 60°46'55.2"W. White sand savanna with sandstone rock outcrops. Dimorphandra dominant on shrub islands and drier parts. Grading to wet areas with standing water. Central part recently burned. Low shrub to 2m, common. Infructescence solitary, in axils of leaves. Calyx persistant, green with red margins. Seeds orange. Silica sample. K.J. Wurdack 5184 1 July 2010 With: K. Redden, S.
