Jimna State Forest, along the Kilcoy - Jimna road, ridgetop, at the juncture of a maintenance road. [3rd stop]. Elevation about 1716 feet. Disturbed gravel and sandy soil, probably acidic. Ridge forest, dry-mesic, Eucalyptus, Acacia, Casuarina, Lophostemon. Flower buds pale orange; local perennial herb, several-stemmed, erect; some grazed by livestock. Steven R.
