Pond, near boat landing. Humus over sand and gravel
till, probably acidic.
Mixed forest, Picea, Abies, Fagus, Acer rubrum, margins
near lake edge. Occasional small tree about 3-4 meters
tall, bark dirty-white; fruits green.
