Medium sized tree approx. 9.14 m tall. Broken twigs emit strong wintergreen scent. Catkins yellow-green. Very common in a very disturbed areas of an Oak-Hickory Mesic Forest with Rosa multiflora, Aralia elata, Betula lenta saplings, Lonicera japónica, and Alliaria petiolata. Matthew C.
