WS The New York Botanical Garden Plants of U.S.A. Caprifoliaceae Lonicera japónica L. det. M. Nee, 2009 INDIANA, Brown Co., below dam at Yellowwood Lake in Yellowwood State Forest. 39°10’35”N, 86°20’29”W. alt. 175 m. Floodplain forest with Populus deltoides, Juglans nigra, Acer negundo, Liriodendron tulipifera, Acer negundo, much naturalized Lonicera japónica. Vine, forming small masses in places, especially at edge and in partial openings, with few in deep shade, climbing to at least 5 m. Flowers strongly fragrant (7:45 P.M. near sunset); corolla white, fading to creamy yellow. Coll.: M. Nee 56358 6 June 2009 02438222
