Habitat
On heath slick with Rhododendron catawbiense, Kalmia latifolia, Galax urceolata, Nyssa sylvatica, Halesia tetraptera, Epigaea repens, Leucothoe recurva, Vaccinium constablei, Ilex montana, Gaultheria procumbens, Prunus pensylvanica, Amelanchier laevis. Just a little down trail from main heath slick. Growing on rock (large fracture block) along edge of trail.
