Habitat
Pinyon-juniper woodland on generally N-S trending ridge. Gentle S, W, and E-facing slopes, with seasonally wet depressions on top of slope. Low outcrops of red Tertiary volcanic rocks at top of slope; rocky soil. Common at base of slope.
