Understory of rainforest.

Description
Tree sapling, height 2.5m, dbh 20mm. Crushed leaves smell of green apples. No clear pattern of phylotaxis. Leaves 30mm long, 60mm wide. Flowers held in inflorescence. Individual flowers 6mm diameter. Petals pale pink, stigma pink, stamens yellow-pink with black stripe down their axis. Pedicels pale green. Mature fruits red, spherical 16mm diameter. Sap watery, no distinct smell.
