    A 1-2 hectare stand of nearly pure Zea diploperennis, with scattered shrubs and rank weedy vegetation of many Compositae (Tithonia), Lupinus, etc., on S-facing open grassy ungrazed slopes of former open dry Quercus-Pinus woods (maize fields?).
