Carex elynoides turf on ridgeline. Shallow gravelly soils, 5 % slope to NE. Limestone substrate. Associated with Oxytropsis sericea, Erigeron compositus, Potentilla ovina, etc.

T10N R28E SI SE1/4. Carex elynoides turf on ridgeline. Shallow, gravelly soils, 5% slope to NE. Limestone substrate. Associated with Oxytropis sericea Erigeron compositus, Potentilla ovina, Leucopoa kingii, Penstemon humilis, Cymopterus bipinnatus, and Castilleja pallescens. Corolla blue. Plants uncommon.
