    Shrub 2 m tall, the stems very numerous, ca 1.5 cm diam; bark reddish purple, smooth; only one fruit found on entire patch, this green with hint of red, not very juicy. The plants here forming a very large and dense patch 4m × 3m. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
