Dominican Republic. Barahona. "Los Morones"; area (no residences!), 2 to 4 km. up Río Baoruco from the river mouth (town of Baoruco), via trail to Las Auyamas.

Habitat
About 2 km. up river from mouth, on dry slope along trail. Native old broadleaf forest at river valley, humid, but few epiphytes here!.

Description
One stem, 3.5 to 4 m. tall; corolla white; stamen filaments orange, stamen sacks yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
