    Tree, 4 m x 10 cm. Petals on inside, filaments, and style white. Pedicel and calyx and outside of petals tinged with red. Extrafloral nectaries red, visited by large black ants. Nectary exudes drop of nectar. Large black ants only on tree with open flower. Material collected for anatomical study. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
